A diverting summer action adventure with occasional laughs .... The Bourne Identity has all the necessary components of the genre, and deploys them well.. I just wish there was a little more feeling, and a little less flash. And a lot more of Landis' dialogue, and a lot less of what feels like Nourizadeh's audition for an even bigger, dumber movie.. Great fights. You wouldn't think of Damon as a tough guy, but he's worked really hard on the physical stuff here and it shows.. A first-rate thrille...
