It would make a cute TV show.. The settings and tone are hyper-real, yet the human behaviour is grounded and credible, the moral conflicts complex and involving. Shiny, intelligent fun.. Neither the dramatic nor action elements are remotely compelling.. "Last Knights" is so thoroughly mediocre, so dully empty, that it's difficult to summon the enthusiasm to trash it.
